With over 13 years of industry experience, John has distinguished himself as a human capital specialist and leader in recruitment, staff augmentation, and business development. He is currently serving as the President and Managing Partner of IslandSearch Group.  

John began his professional career at Aerotek, the leading staff augmentation and recruitment company in the United States, where he specialized in providing tailored staffing and recruitment solutions. Focusing on the architecture, engineering, construction, and environmental industries within the New York and tri-state area, he supported significant programs and projects with his customized approach. His dedication and strategic methodology consistently made him a premier client resource. This led to the successful completion of numerous projects and solidified his reputation within the sector.

Following his successful tenure at Aerotek, John transitioned to join one of New York’s top construction companies, Iovino Enterprises (parent company to MLJ Contracting, TC Electric, J-Track, and Welkin Mechanical), a rapidly growing and newly established company at the time, where he was hired as the Director of Talent Acquisition to manage the recruitment and hiring efforts for all five companies. His role at Iovino Enterprises exposed him to new challenges and various high-profile civil & infrastructure construction projects across the area, further broadening his industry experience and understanding of strategic workforce needs.

In a true testament to his entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to the field, John co-founded IslandSearch Group.  Here, he continues to apply his vast experience and innovative methods in staff augmentation and recruitment, solidifying his influential role in the industry.

Vice President and Managing Partner

With over 11 years of industry experience, Louis has distinguished himself as a transformative recruitment and talent acquisition leader. He is currently serving as the Vice President and Managing Partner of IslandSearch Group.  

Embarking on his professional journey with Aerotek, the most significant staff augmentation and recruitment company in the United States, Louis honed his industry expertise by specializing in recruiting and servicing the architecture, engineering, construction, and environmental industries across the Long Island market.  His dedication and strategic approach consistently positioned him as a top producer, leading to numerous contest victories and establishing his reputation within the sector.

Following his tenure at Aerotek, Louis transitioned to join one of the world’s top construction companies, Skanska, where he was hired as a Talent Acquisition Specialist for the Civil Northeast Region.  He was quickly promoted to Talent Acquisition Manager, responsible for supporting Skanska’s Building and Civil Business Units primarily in the Northeast Region, and assisted nationally.  His role at Skanska brought him into the heart of various high-profile building and civil construction projects nationwide, further broadening his industry experience and understanding of strategic workforce needs.
